Gypsy Jazz Quartet
Recreate the atmosphere of a 1930's Paris cafe at your drinks reception with us!
Gypsy jazz is the style of music generated by gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt, who formed the Quintet of the Hot Club of France with violinist Stephane Grappelli in 1934.
The music can be accurately described as hot café jazz from Paris in the 30’s.
The music we play is for the most part up-tempo, lively and uplifting, but there are also slower melancholy tunes in the repertoire, as well as some latin-tinged pieces. This professional line-up features acoustic guitars, sax/clarinet, with double bass. We have a busy schedule, so check our availability sooner rather than later, without obligation!
